How it works — for students
From searching for a tutor to paying for your first month, here's exactly what happens.

Search and shortlist
Filter by subject, board, class, area and rate. Browse profiles, read reviews, and shortlist 2–3 tutors.

Send a hiring request
Click Contact Tutor. Tell them what you need — subject, class level, preferred days and times. The tutor has 48 hours to respond.

Admin calls you
Once the tutor accepts, our admin calls both parties to confirm the schedule, rate, and start date.

Pay through IlmGhar
You pay us via JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank, or cash. We hold the payment safely.

Lessons begin
Tutor starts teaching. After each session, the tutor marks the lesson done. You confirm or dispute within 24 hours.

We pay the tutor
At the end of the month, we send the tutor their payment for confirmed lessons. You stay protected the whole time.
Frequently asked
How are tutors verified?
We check each tutor's degree against the HEC database and verify their CNIC. Only approved tutors appear in search results.
What if the tutor doesn't show up?
Dispute the lesson within 48 hours. Our admin reviews disputes and decides whether the lesson is paid or refunded.
Can I get a refund?
If a lesson is found in the student's favour during dispute resolution, the amount is refunded or credited toward the next month.
What's the trial week?
Most tutors offer a 1-week trial at a lower rate so you can decide before committing to a month.
