IlmGhar ("Home of Education") was built to fix two old problems in Pakistani home tutoring.
The problem we're solving
Students and parents have no way to verify whether a tutor actually holds the degree they claim, and no protection if a tutor takes money and disappears. Meanwhile good tutors get burned by students who refuse to pay after a month of teaching.
How we work
Every tutor's degree is authenticated through our own process — expert manual review plus AI-based document checks — and every tutor's CNIC is checked. Our admin team supervises the entire hiring process: we call both parties, confirm terms, and collect payment before teaching starts. Tutors get paid only after lessons are confirmed, and we deduct a 15% platform fee.
Where we operate
We started in Islamabad and Rawalpindi and now offer in-person home tutoring in cities across Pakistan — from the big metros to district towns nationwide. And because great teaching isn't bound by geography, our online tutors teach students anywhere in Pakistan — the same verified, admin-supervised hiring, wherever you are.
