Yes. Every tutor's CNIC and degree are verified before they appear, and on a managed hire every lesson and payment is supervised by our admin team, with dispute protection.
How does payment work?
On a managed hire you pay IlmGhar (not the tutor) at the start of each month. We pay the tutor on time, and you only pay for the lessons actually taken — unused lessons are refunded if you stop early.
What does it cost?
Browsing and hiring directly is free. On a managed hire the tutor pays a 10% service fee — deducted only when they're paid. The price you see is the monthly fee per subject.
What's the difference between hiring directly and through IlmGhar?
Direct hiring just relays your message — you arrange payment and lessons yourselves, with no protection, and the chat disappears after 7 days. Through IlmGhar you get a permanent chat room, lesson tracking, payment protection and reviews.
How quickly will a tutor respond?
Tutors have 7 days to respond to a request. You'll get an email and see their reply in your inbox.
Can I change or stop with a tutor?
Yes — you're never locked in. You only pay for lessons taken, and admin settles any balance pro-rata if you stop part-way through a month.
